Doesn't get any bigger then this folks! New Years eve is probably the biggest party of the year! Where are you going to be?
GoBooth will be attending for the 2nd year in a row, Starfish's Island Fever NYE party here in Ottawa at the Mariott Hotel downtown -> www.nyeottawa.com. This is their 9th annual New Years Eve Party, and if it's anything like last year... It going to be amazing!
For those who attended last year's party, and remembered us at the party... we have good news for you. The photo booth has been upgraded.
Our Photo booth rental business is not very old, exactly one year ago when GoBooth attended this party (known as instasmile photo-booth back then) we were still running the show with the "prototype" that I built for my wedding. We had around 130 people at our wedding, and for its purpose, the photo booth surpassed mine and everyone else's expectation. After that I started renting it out... and the rest as they say, is history. Last year, we had over 700 guests at the starfish NYE party. My wife and I quickly realized that although our booth was working great and people were loving it... it was slow,
This prototype featured a beautifully painted MDF body, a none-touch screen, and a hacked "easy button" to start the fun. It also had a built-in printer! This was cool at the time... but these small consumer grade printers are slow. It took just about 60 seconds for a single print to come out!
In March 2016, I purchased all new gear and built a new, smaller, lighter, faster and much better photo booth. We got a new website and rebranded as GoBooth.
Our new booth is now made of solid walnut and Canadian poplar. It has a touch screen, a new DSLR Camera, has industry-leading lighting and most importantly a commercial grade photo booth printer. It now takes 10 seconds for pictures to print. No more lines up!
A 3rd booth is currently in the works with even better gear! but we'll save those details for later...
